Lan Ban Kik was started in 2002 as a Milk Bar. In 2013 it was upgraded up to a Coffe Shop with two indoor spaces for customers. Everyday our Cafe offers a large selection of drinks and desserts.

In 2018 we decided to open a homestay because we would like to show Rong Kwang to other people of the world and practice English language. The homestay is named after Aongtong - a young member of our big family. We hope that communication with foreigners will help Aongtong in studying languages.

How to get here

Rong Kwang is located on a highway between Phrae City (30 km away) and Nan City (90 km away). From Bangkok City (Northern Bus Terminal) or Chiang Mai City you can a take bus to Nan City. Drop out in Rong Kwang town near Police Station.
If you travel from Laos, you can take a bus "Luang Prabang - Nan", and then take a bus "Nan-Bangkok", drop out in Rong Kwang town.

From Bankok City or Chaiang Mai City take a train to Den Chai town, then take a bus to Nan City. Tell the driver to drop you out in Rong Kwang town near police station.
